BUILDING SUBSTITUTE

Broad Function: Individuals selected for these important substitute teaching positions are assigned to a specific school building location each day Monday to Friday.  Classroom assignments may vary at the Principal's discretion and based on school's needs. The position provides an excellent way to gain classroom experience for aspiring teachers or those who would like to be in a school setting.

Location(s): Positions available at both the Elementary & Secondary level.

Qualifications:  Bachelor's Degree is required. 

Salary & Benefits:  Compensation is $137 per day with select medical insurance offered for those working as a Building Sub for more than 30 Hours a week. Building Subs work Monday-Friday for 182 days with start & end time based on their specific school assignment. Building Subs are only compensated for days worked. Building Subs are not expected to be present for District PDE or conference days unless otherwise notified.
